Welcome to OGMS! Registration is now open!
The Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) is excited to announce the official launch of the new Online Grant Management System (OGMS)! Users may now begin the registration process. Every user that manages a DCJS grant will need to register to receive a login account. This includes those within your locality that are responsible for submitting a grant application, uploading progress reports, entering financial reports, and requesting funds. You should have received the instructions on Completing Your Registration in OGMS via email, however if you did not, training materials and resources can be located here https://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/grants/ogms-training-resources.
Internet Browsers
Please note, Microsoft has announced that it will be discontinuing versions of Internet Explorer v.10 and prior in the coming months. The only Internet browsers recommended for use with OGMS are Google Chrome, Edge, and Safari. Users should know that problems could exist within the system through use of any other browser.
OGMS Training & Resources
DCJS is committed to keeping all constituents informed to ensure a smooth transition for everyone. We have also created a webpage designated for OGMS training and resources. This page will be updated frequently and will provide additional resources to help you navigate OGMS. You can access the webpage directly at https://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/grants/ogms-training-resources.
OGMS Technical Support
For questions and technical assistance, contact: ogmssupport@dcjs.virginia.gov. Please include your grant number and grant program area in the Subject line (Example: 20-A1234CC20 – CCCA/PSA Grant Program).
EDI Payment Agreement
Electronic payments have many benefits to its recipients, among them are: more cost effective than handling paper checks, prompt availability of funds, better cash management, no lost or stolen checks, and no deposit delays. Following approval of your claim/voucher request in OGMS, payment would be deposited in your bank account on the due date. This will eliminate many delays that you may be experiencing due to USPS mail interruptions and COVID-19 office restrictions.
The EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) program is managed centrally by the Virginia Department of Accounts (DOA). It is of no cost to you and it does provide access to REDI Virginia – an online system that alerts you when deposits have been made and details transactions that are being paid. If you elect to participate in this program, simply complete the Grantee Payment Agreement found here (https://www.doa.virginia.gov/forms/EDI/AgreementLocalityGrantee.pdf) and return it as instructed. You will be notified once your EDI account has been activated. Please share that correspondence with the Grants Management team by emailing us at grantsmgmt@dcjs.virginia.gov and we will ensure future payments are sent electronically.
